Mesa School District Overview.

Mesa School District has a strong commitment to support the regular instruction of children in the schools. The Guidance, Health Services, Special Education, and Security Departments are specifically oriented to assist in creating a conducive learning environment for all students. The main objectives of Mesa Schools are to :-

Develop higher-level thinking and problem-solving skills through learning experiences in science, social studies and literature.

Help Students learn to express themselves creatively and appretiate the fine arts throughout their lives.

Teach skills and attitudes which encourage proper physical development, activity and wellness.

Assist students in understanding and appreciating their own heritage, as well as people of different cultural, social and ethnic groups.

Offer courses in which students may learn a trade or skill for future employment.

Provide programs for students with special needs.

Attract, retain and recognize skilled and concerned educators and support staff.

Exercise fiscal responsibility while planning for a future of growing and change.

Maintain quality, safe facilities in which students learn, and where expectations and consequences for performance and behavior are clearly defined.
